These unfinished maple hoops are great for your next drum project. These hoops are 1-1/2″ (40mm) wide and 5/16″ (8mm) thick. The hoop is a heavy 6ply construction. The outer edge is rounded over. Hoops are sanded and ready for an oil, stain or painted finish. Before finishing you may want to clean the hoops with naphtha, acetone, mineral spirits or other cleaner to assure the best adhesion for the finish of your choice.
