Description

The Tama Concert Maple series of snare drums are designed for any player who needs a high-quality-sounding concert snare drum.
Constructed of 7ply, 6mm Maple shells, they deliver a warm, versatile tone. The unique Fine Adjuster mechanism on the snare strainer with Hybrid Snare Wire allows for a wider tonal range to accommodate the individual player’s sound preference.
Six strands of Nickel guitar strings are flanked on each side by three nylon coated Stainless Steel wire strands.
The wire seats within the throw-off and butt plate, eliminating the need for snare chords and guessing the correct tension.
The triple-flanged 2.3mm steel hoops provide a “wetter” sound than die-cast zinc hoops.
